Half the size of the Pere Lachaise cemetery, it’s nevertheless the biggest garden in Paris (22 hectares) and the oldest. This open-air museum houses hundreds of sculptures dating back to the XVIIIth century, and some more contemporary also, as well as dozens of different types of flowers. This garden is the masterpiece of André Le Nôtre ! The gardener of the Sun king who spent almost all of his life to adorn, develop and embellish the Tuileries garden. A delightfull stroll !
