Located near the famous war museum, Invalides, this fine privative townhouse (l’hôtel Biron) built in the 18th century displays Auguste Rodin’s collections including the burghers of Calais, the Gates of hell, and the Thinker, installed in the park.
Between the gardens, the pathways, the chapel and the hotel, the museum is housed on the sculptor’s choosen site where he lived and worked from 1908 onwards.
